Note from the roaster...
We finally introduce a new lot to replace the stalwart coffee that is Sasaba. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were in need of a replacement at least for this season, and we could not be happier with where we have ended up! Gogogu is a wonderfully deep and complex natural lot from the Uraga region of East Guji, where the producers focus on Quality over Quantity. The coffee cherries are delivered to one of our closest partners Tesfaye Bekele’s washing stations where it is sorted and dried on raised African beds. The result is a balanced but luxurious cup profile, with smooth chocolate notes and gentle stone fruit acidity, brought together with a syrupy mouthfeel, perfect for espresso or filter.
