TASTE THE ROAST
Prepare to dive into the world of coffee at our community coffee cupping event hosted by our super talented, Brigitta. Join us for a fun and interactive experience where you'll get to taste and smell a variety of coffees. It's a great opportunity to meet fellow coffee lovers, learn about different brewing methods, and discover your new favourite beans.
The event is to showcase our new coffees from our current guest roaster and our house roaster, Root & Branch Coffee Roasters, Belfast. You will gain a great understanding of what specialty coffee is, learn about the wonderfully talented coffee roasters we work with and explore what you are tasting including roast profiles, origins, differences between filter and espresso roast and importantly, what the process of cupping is all about. Let's brew up some fun together!
On the day, you will also be able to avail of 10% off anything from our retail shelf including home brewing equipment, coffee beans & more.
Our first event will take place on Wednesday 13th March 2024, at Two Boys Brew in Phibsborough at 6.30pm and last approx. 2.5hrs. Please arrive 5 minutes before so we can begin promptly.

Coffee is so much more than a beverage, coffee is community. In my 8 years in the specialty coffee world, I have been lucky enough to experience so many different aspects of the industry. Throughout the years I have had the opportunity to work with coffee roasters of all sizes in both Ireland and Romania and subsequently became certified by the Specialty Coffee Association. I also managed the success of many coffee shops along the way, while training more baristas than I care to remember! After working with some bigger companies, I decided that I wanted to start working on creating and being part of a coffee community where everyone is welcome, which led me to the boys at Two Boys Brew. It’s a little over a year being part of this amazing team and I am now so excited for you all to see what we have been working on. We’ve created this event, Taste the Roast, to welcome you to join our coffee community.
